Auto light switch With Coming Home, help??

hello..
I bought Headlight Switch, With Coming Home but now I want someone I can explain how to make the necessary connections?


Enable Coming Home & Leaving Home Lighting without Auto-Lights or Auto-Dimming mirrors??

yea you can do it that way without the need for your new switch mind, but someone will be along to help you with what you want if it can be done mind

Where are you from & tbh unless you have experience in wiring things like this, best to get someone else to do it for you, as its a nice fun job.

Have you got auto dim rear view mirror atm?

yes, i have a frind that its gone do for me, but heask me if i can arrange some DIY.

Just done that today on my 8P...
If you want everuthing OEM you'll need:

Rain/light sensor
Int rearview mirror with auto dim funct
Light switch with auto and CH/LH switch
And all the plugs and wires.

Do you have all that?

Bruno, 1st let me say have some patients as it is viewed as rude when people post 1 hour after another post asking "Nobody", we're friendly on here, but we have lives as do you, which involve working, family, social life etc, people will reply when they see fit & when they have the time.

Moving forward if you have the standard non dimming mirror you will need the proper fixing on the windscreen, so a new windscreen is the proper way to fit this as the fixings for the different mirrors arent the same, there is an adapter but imho it looks crap.

Where in switzerland as i'm currently in North East Italy.

I already have all the stuff .. yes, I know I need a new glass, but wanted to put the cables in place so that when change was needed was just glass paste to the glass mirror ..

Just out of interest how much would a job like this come to. I know the windscreen would need changing but i can get that done under the insurance...
would love to have the auto lights on my A3

Would depend on the car configuration currently as the CE needs coding for the option & you may or may not have the CE for this feature, best to discuss these things on PM mate.
