Can anyone tell me if a new S3 rim with a PCD adaptor to change from 5x100 to 5x112 will fit on an old S3. Also does anyone know if you can buy 8l S3 discs in 5x112?

do you know what size the new s3 rims are? diameter, width and offset? and what spacing will the adaptor give you?
You will need 5x112 to 5x100 adapters to fit new S3 alloys onto the old S3's. You can't buy 8L S3 discs in 5x112.

well i think adaptors are typically 20mm thick droping your ET down to 24, which with 8" wide rims should be fine. I run 8.5" rims with ET25 and there fine

im running et27 up front on 9" so most your be able to squeeze would be et15 on 8" i reckon i run stretched tyres too for clearance, an et10 wheel with 10mm spacer would leave you with et0, that would clear the rears id imagen, when talking these tight lines though camber and tyres come into equation

Will all this playing to a massive extent not **** up the feel of the car?
I fitted 8" with et13 on my mk2 golf which is quite a way from the standard set up and it feels alot diffrent. Not in a 100% good way. it pulls around with the surface of the road and tram lines alot.
That said as its a mainly track/ weekend blast car its more about the good feel when pushed hard into a corner.

mine dosent handle to great tbh its still alot better then standard but due to having the 19's and stretched tyres its a compromise, however on 18's and maybe going 8 or 8.5 inch wheels then you could loose the stretch on the tyres and it would handle awsome, im looking for some winter wheels atm which will put me into this setup for the wet roads
Thanks all for the advice. They fit perfectly with a 20mm adapter. I think the rears could maybe have taken a 25mm. But I'm over the moon with the result.

Yip. It's mine. The rear was still riding a little high from being jacked up on this photo. I haven't noticed any real change in the ride quality TBH. Tyre roar on the other hand is noticeably louder. Gotta wait for the tyres to wear out now before I try the Goodyear F1's I wanted originally.

Ah I see, I wondered why you didnt just get ones with the correct stud pattern. CK's are lovely but the black ch's tickle my fancy, if only they werent £1400 odd without tyres
i had a nightmare trying to get the right spigots, so in the end i ordered some BBS spigots which come as a fitting kit (centralising rings, retaining rings and new bolts for some reason) Cost about £70. Quite a lot i thought
