S4 6 spokes on A3 - thoughts?

What is the general opinion of the 18" S4 wheel going on an 8P A3?

Gorgeous, set on ebay now, or ended last nite? Love the S4 rims, guy from S.A has them on here, but he has monster truck 4x4 stance.

S4 wheels are sublime, had on my S4 B6, ytf did I sell them is beyond me.

tbh i'm quite picky. but it's the owner's choice. if they like them then that's all that matters to me. i'm saying i would own them (unlike speedlines) but only if they were keenly priced. otherwise i'd be saving for something like R8 V10s, tho i'm wondering what Carrera S IIs would look like on an A3, and if they'd fit.

I'm asking what YOU like! I think the R8 V10s look cheap, which Carrera S rims? The fronts will fit with adapters, rears = no chance

my rims are definitely my favourite wheel. they're the Audi OEM CH-a-likes

then probably the S3 facelift wheels
then probably the TT-S/S5 wheels

i think the new Gallardo wheels would look gorgeous, but way too pricey and therefore not worth it. i'm with you on BLQs. don't really like them, apart from on one Mk 4 Golf i saw in PVW.

generally not a fan of aftermarket wheels.

yeah lol. no offence, but really not a fan of that tucked under the arches look, which i'd imagine you need if you're rocking 20s.

oh, and ride comfort is of SOME importance to me. not the be all and end all, but i'd like to have a little give lol

Thats fair enough man, but in all fairness, my friend Karl has 20x9 Kahns on a 235/30/20 same as size as that TT, lowered on V-Maxx coilovers, and that ride is sublime, you wouldn't know it had big wheels on it at all, really a beautiful drive.

i think 19s would be the upper limit for me, but i think the 18s i have fill the arches perfectly. once it's lowered and has some spacers fitted i think i'll be 100% happy with my boots

I've had the Helios on for a year, and putting A8s on for winters on! Not expensive when you make your money back on them

Totaly agree, I saw a sportback with those 20" s8 rims on and some yellow porsche brakes too looked the mutts nuts, can't find the pic now was on vwhome or cleaned.be a while back maybe a year or two!!!
