Ive been using AutoGlym High Definition Wax, but nearly run out now! I don't know what to replace it with, should I buy another or is there another better wax in the same price range?

Thanks!

I really like Swissvax Shield!
It's a more natural wax than AG HD, and it also contains Teflon.

Nice warm glow, and good durability!

Its made for black cars, provides EXCELLENT protection and actually gives the car excellent shine as well.

Bit far out of his price range don't you think?

I have some Dodo Juice Blue Velvet and some Autoglym HD which I both like.

The nattys stuff is good for the price.

how much is the Natty's stuff and where from?

smells like bubblegum. all my friends start drooling after i wax the car. kids chase me down streets trying to bite chunks of tire off.

I bought it from a local detailing place, i dont recall the price, but it was in the 20 dollar range, i think.

If it's for the white A3 in your profile pic, I wouldn't recommend a wax.

Instead, go with a sealant - much sharper finish, more 'white' white.

Without a doubt, Werkstat Acrylic kit (which is on offer!): Winter Preparation Special Offers | Werkstat Acrylic Kit

It is, simply, the business on white.

(If it's for another car, not the white one, let me know and I can recommend)

As above - recently finished a silver DB7 Vantage with the Jeffs system and it certain gave it the edge!

im using colly 915 at the moment, i really like it as it gives good protection and durability i think and for £18 you cant beat it.

this is for jim and john (PB) which wax would you recommend for my nogaro blue S4?

Have you a budget in mind?

Ideally, I'd recommend Raceglaze Black Label: Raceglaze Signature Series Black Label | Raceglaze Car Care & Detailing Products as it will give an absolutely awesome finish on Nogaro Blue with superb durability.

But if that's over budget, then Raceglaze 55 is my next thought: Raceglaze Signature Series '55' | Raceglaze Car Care & Detailing Products it'll still give a deep, rich, glossy finish with great durability.

With either of them, I'd recommned using Werkstat Carnauba Prime first to cleanse the paint and add a basecoat of sealant. It provides an excellent base to top with wax. Werkstat Prime Carnauba | Werkstat Car Care & Detailing Products

Re: Collinite 915: it is very durable and gives good protection but its fair to say its aesthetics leave a fair bit to be desired - but it is only £25.95 for a big tin.

£275 is a little out of budget for me lol as for the raceglaze series 55 i will check out when i come to get another wax for the car.

55 is absolutely superb, it's actually really good value - the results it gives are way above its price point.

As for Black Label, it's incredible for the money: its finish is comparable with Zymol Vintage.....

sorry to steal the thread.. but just wanted to know if you (PB) had a package that might be good for my a3.. the colour is pearl blue... also looking at getting a snowfoam lance.. cheers

Is it the car in your profile pic? If so, definitely Werkstat Acrylic kit - Winter Preparation Special Offers | Werkstat Acrylic Kit it's currently on special offer. As are the foam lance kits - Special Offers | PB Foam Lance Kit You should order soon as they're going fast -when stock is finished, the offer is finished!
