Audi Driver's International - 9th October 2010 - ***Official Thread***

Is anyone bringing VCDS along? As I've had some slight rough idling on cold/ jerky acceleration, so interested to know if there's any fault codes before going to the dealers. Cheers Scott

I'll bet ya most people will still bring along a hoard of cleaning products! Those who don't will regret it!!

I hope people dont forget to clean themselves first in the turmoil of making sure their pride and joy is spick and span!!....nothing worse than following a group a 'bo' ridden car enthusiasts!!

I'm going to show mine a damp sponge. And that's about it. lol.

You sure you wana go that far? don't want you pulling a muscle me old china :)

I will bring the mini laptop along. Look for the lonely allroad.

I'm going to intentionally make mine as muddy as possible.

I also am hoping someone will have VCDS there, when I was driving to work this morning I got the little engine symbol pop up, and my VCDS cable is on its way, but wont be here by Saturday.

And BlueMerlin, it's OK, as you said we'll park together and show the A6 team! Even if yours is technically not an A6, it is at heart!

so how many 6's are there now? 3?

hopefully if i can blag an extra pass from joe,a guy from down my street fancies coming on the stand in his black RS6 avant :) so that would be 4 of us

Well, the weather is looking good at my end for the run up to the weekend, I've vacuumed the car just now, will give it a wash on Friday hopefully, then pray it's dry on the way down.

Quite looking forward to this now, see you all on Saturday morning! :)

What do you mean blag? ;)

Well he isnt down on the list so i assumed he was too late.He is a member on here but clearly doesnt post often :D
If there is still space on the stand i will let him know

So do we buy tickets on the gate or should I get them before hand?

You buy the enterance to the track at the gate. It's the stand passes that dictate where you are directed as you come in you need from Jojo. That special bit of paper is the thing you all have been seeking

Yeah 3 so far. Me in my stock A6 C6, you in your RS6, and BlueMerlin in his A6 Allroad. We're just trying to show off every option :)

I checked my codes tonight, turns out its the throttle body, and I've read it just needs to be cleaned. Phew......

Yup, you buy the tickets at the gate or online(bit late for the latter now), I think if you buy track sessions online, you gates fee is waved(again, bit too late for this now).

I may venture on the track for a session, see if I'm confident on the day. I will definitely taking my helmet just incase I do also.

Jeeze does no one read.....LMAO

If you meet us at the crosshands pub car park at 8 am ish Joe will have them ready to hand out to the lucky chosen ones, lol

Or if you are running late etc, let me know, i will hang on to your pass and meet you at the gate when you pay etc to ensure you get directed to the correct parking/stand/grass verge (delete as approproiate)

Awesome, the crosshands is only about 15 mins away. If anyone fancies a passenger on the track ;) haha (although no idea where to get a helmet >.<

I know it's an A6 at heart. People do ask why I didn't just buy an A6. I've started prepping it for the weekend now. What do you think. Love greenlaning at lunchtime. :)

Youtube Evidence.

See you all bright and early.

Me and my parents aren't going to get there till about 10ish. Do we just say you've got our passes at the stand then?

you know you will

Yeah, just say your with Audi-sport.net, and the organiser has your pass at the stand mate.

Awesome! Thanks JoJo, can't wait for Saturday. Day off tomorrow, so all day is going to be spent cleaning! Lets hope the weather stays good!

Just a quick note to say if anyone is going on the track and they want me to take photo's. Come and find me let me know your REG Number, username and Tracktime and I'll be able to link you up with your photo's after the event.

Not charging for this :) However that does mean I will be having some me time and not taking photos all day.

My C6 RS6 wheels are going in for refurb and colour change so should have them back tomorrow evening which gives me an oportunity to give the beast a damn good wash/polish/wax

really looking forward to this :)
