Hi all

Brought some new rims for my B6, what do you think?? I know the ride height will need some messing with but that's for another day.

Now I know they are BBS split rims but does anyone know which model rim they are (see photo's)-

Thanks

The are a variation of RC's i know the came in 5x100 on some higher end mk1 TT's,lovely wheel needs lowering and spacers though.

They do look very smart, if you put that on coilovers and drop it very low that will look so smart!

they are just asking to be painted in black or gun met gray in the center living the rim polished ;-)

Nice wheels! i would say get some spacers then deck it! would look the nuts!

Thanks for the positive replies.

Coilovers are next on my shopping list so watch this space.

As for spacers I'm not sure, the wheels are 9j so alredy wider than the standard alloy+scared of those kerbs as it is!!!

What is the offset of the nea wheel's. Looking at the pic's again i would think you could run a 15mm spacer on the rear's and maybe 10mm on the front's.

They are bbs rs2's. Are they 17"? and are you planing to run them through winter?

Sorry it's been a while.

Yep, they are 17's. As for running them through the winter, I hope not. I also have a MK1 Golf (not a show example) which I tend to use when the snow/ice come along.

Just a quick question..I was thinking of coilovers to take an inch or so off the ride height but would it not make economical sense to just fit some shorter springs to give the same effect??

P.S. Thanks for the photoshop, should look good once that ride height is sorted.

P.P.S. The ET is 35
