Hi everyone i am going to try and post some pics my of my A3 hpoe it works. i have changed the wheels and put in new audi matts. i have my front an rear sline bit's just awaiting my fogs/ surrounds and paint. i have had the car since may

i dont sorry ill try and get some posted in the next week or so ( when my cars clean as the hose pipe ban is finished YEAHHHH)

It will feel like a new car when you get the new f/r bumpers on. :)

But I think you will need to sort out your ride height a bit to go with them though.

i may keep the ride hight as i used to have an suv and i like being able to drive on the road and not worry about wats going to hit underneath. i only went for 17's as the gap would be worse with 18"s. whats the suspention diffrence on se, sport, sline, anyway?

yeah mate though the plate was a bit diffrent.

Sport is 10mm lower than SE
S line is 20mm lower than SE
S3 is 30mm lower than SE (iirc)
 
Cheers scottie 30 mm diffrence is a hell of a lot
 
depends on the year... for some years the Sport and S-Line had the same drop

apparently on my 2006/55 car the drop is the same as the Sport, but i'll tell you right now the ride is much more compliant on my S-Line than it was on my Sport. handling is about the same tho.
 
good to know mate thanks. i cant help thinkin i should have got an sline ut it had 15k more on it so didnt bother. it had 55k on a 56 plate mines 06 40k now was 38k same price
 
I've got a Sport (2006) and have put 18" s-line alloys on it. The ride height and arch gap looks the same as cars on s-line suspension.

Also, since moving up from 17" to 18" the gap between wheel and arch looks less to me. I'm guessing it's because the wheels are filling the arch by an inch more, meaning there is half an inch less gap at the top.
Although, the tyres are now a lower profile so, thinking about it, that would offset some or all of the increase in wheel size wouldn't it??!? Dunno. Looks good though!
 
hmmm may get on the look out for some anthercite wheels the muti spoke ones ( think there sline)
 
heres some pics here the bumpers wnt to paint. can i just ask if the new fogs are plug and play? or diff connections


 
how much is the kit and what bits do you need to modify it i.e soldering iron
 
i have been told that a4 fogs are the same as A3 ones ( but i have no idera what they look like as i have only seen them with the surronds on ) can anyone please help looked on ebay but have no idear what ones : ( and now i have to buy a wireing pack (nooooooo its never ends) any help would be great
 
Got my bumpers bak yesterday. what you think? i am really glad i decided to get matt black
just need to get some money together for my fogs

hi everyone i need the fog light part numbers please. as i am scouring e-bay looking for audi a4 ones and have no idear what they look like ( without the surrounds) can someone plesae help? also if i get them ccheap enough and flog my old whhels may be able to afford my new headlights yeahhhhhhhhh
 
heres an update
fogs are now wired upget pics up soon. need a rear sline bumper or new a3 bumper

i converted mine just cut up my old plugs to bits till the wires and connectors where showing then went to audi and got the s-line plugs (£13) pushed the termanials in and rock n roll baby

where did you get ye bumpers sprayed some where in liverpool am after my rear bumper sprayed in black cos some one hit me up the bum in the the banks carpark and got off where is good an reliable would be gratefull
 
it was a bit of a dropsy mate as a one off. i woild just ring round thats pretty much all you can do
 
hi everyone washed my waxed my car mnday so got some new pics. i have just ordered a sline real bumper and i aready have the splitter so when i get the pained ill get some pics up.

Copy and paste one of the links into the box that looks like a tree and should say photos.
Should bring up the photos in your sig then. You have to do this to every link separate
