would either of these be a direct replacement on a 2007 sport model 3 door or would it require changing the bonet?

No it wouldnt be kirst. Check out FAQ. You will need to change the whole front end and alot of wiring.
Few guys had a look at doing it, bill was over £3k. Phil a member on here is doing it though

Maybe change the bumper to the s-line front or S3 front? and aftermarket led headlights?
