not sure on the % as they were on the car all ready

from the look of the fronts mate,, if they are tinted i would say the are legal limits witch i believe is 30% shading, so the backs are probably 50%
looks quite stylish does that pal,, cheers!
my worste fear is to pick the wrong colours and make it look chavvy!!!

i had mine done 75% all round and at the time thought it looked the nuts for a year till i got a tug and was made to strip them off the front!! my mates told me to leave the rears tinted but it was all or nothing for me? and to be honest i totally prefer it without the tints looks a lot more grown up imo??? ive left the rear window tinted and really like it as its quite different

I've got 15% on all the rears. Left the fronts OEM.

With the rears so dark it makes the fronts look darker without any chance of old bill being able to say anything

Will post some pics later

My personal opinion is you want the same all round, and not too dark. Darker at the back doesn't look right to me, and also makes the heated window and FM aerial elements stand out too much! See Scott and Chris's pic's below....

any tint of any shade will do this James, its because the tint does not mould itself around the heating elements and FM aerial (unless you get stupidly expensive tint film) this is because the film is too thick. this causing an "outline" affect around the parts in question.
All in all making them stand out..... :(

think im gunna go for either legal limits all round,, or legal limits front, and 1 shade darker for the back!!!!
im cackin myself now,, if it looks crap ill be gutted!!!!

your car already has the legal limit on the front.....

50% rear screen & the rest 25% on my Blue one :

I had 50% on the rears & rear screen and 25% on the fronts on my red one :

ended up going for 35% all way round,,,not been the best of light today so they look quite dark for 35's at the moment!
still really pleased with the look though!
£140 for the lot!
what a bargain!

Now you can drive in your own comfort without people invading your privacy!

sound,, they lasted a ****** day,,!
just got pulled by the bobby's and they made me strip the fronts out!!!!
but to be honest,, im not too fussed,, gunna have lighter tints at the front,,
in all honesty,, i began to think the fronts looked too dark making it look a bit chavvy,
tints all round work for me like,, but only the lighter ones,,
i think lighter on the front will look better with the backs i got!
might have done me a favour there mr plod!
cheers big ears!!!!

i guess your tinter was tinting at 35% light throughput = aka quite dark??

some tint on throughput and some tint on tint darkness... 35% dark is quite light... however 35% throughput is rather dark...
Mine were measured on throughput.. wouldn't have anything less than 50% on the front windows.

yeah,,, already been and looked at 50's im thinkin 50's myself,, lets see!

You should have put the windows down when you noticed the jam sandwich coming near you!! I always have, ahem, dark windows and have never had any problems.

Had our allroad done with 25% on the back & 50% on the front door glass. You can have as dark as you want on the back but the front door glass should let in 70% light but is pretty pointless as it doesn't even look tinted with 70%. I always go with 50% on the front & don't seem to have any problems with it.

I've just been told by a Window Tinting company that my 54 plate A4 S-line windows are already tinted 30% (from factory, so the fronts are already on the legal limit)

Does this sound right.. I though the Audis were only tinted 10% from factory?
