I'm just hoping my 1.8T comes with twin, almost 100% sure it does but I'm just panicking I think?!

Ordered through lease company early Aug..... not got a defo del. date but last time i spoke to the lease company they said it will be around Jan 5th which is when my current car is up for renewel... to be honest im not holding my breath unless they know different and lease companies get priority but they obviously dont read the posts on here.......

I know everyone has their own opinion, but I don't understand why everyone is getting so worked up about exhaust pipes. I'm now on and 11 day count down until my 2.0 TDi 140 is delivered, and I could not give two hoots that it only has one pipe.
When was it ordered???
Would like to know once and for all wot the score is with ordering through lease companies?????
Mine was ordered on the 13th August.... like i said, i live in hope that delivery times through lease companies are different.. might have to give them a bell....

No worries. I was really disappointed with the wait at first but have looked on the bright side and will have a new 11 reg as opposed to a new 60 reg.

I am leasing mine through Zenith Provecta and on an email to me a few weeks ago they stated "our fleet cars generally take precedence over retail orders".
Also, to confirm previous posts, I am in line to get a mobility courtesy car next week. Retail or Company Lease makes no difference to the provision of a courtesy car if your order is delayed.
Cancelled my order as i cant be asked waiting for Audi to give me the build date .. They dont want my business tough then i cant be asked gving them my hard earned cash

Finally had the email I've been waiting for today
It said:
'Hi James,
Great news, we have a confirmed build date of week 39, that is week commecing 27/9. Therefore we should see the A3 late October/early November'
I'm over the moon as it was due early December, also gutted at the same time because it means hardcore saving for the next month!

Read this yesterday, might explain some of the delays.

Actually when i picked mine up the dealer said that they had agreed to increase the number of cars they were going to produce and put back the launch of the new model. Sounds pretty feasible considering the report there.

I have heard that story too. Seems the new A3 is unlikely to be available in the UK until spring 2012 and then (as with all recent Audi launches) the model/spec you want isn't one of the Launch models!!

A colleague of mine received his new 2.0tdi BE last Thursday - was ordered end Feb via ING lease. Looks like the MY11 cars are finally starting to come through now, as I also saw another on the road last week..

That seems later than most really, i saw two black MY11 ones on the back of a low loader today off to some new owners.

Going well chap, not had chance to fit the rings and shocks yet, waiting on my mate to get back from Germany as he's the mechanic.
Still a little worried about the tappet noise from the engine, still not 100% that its supposed to be that loud but i may be being fussy!? want to be sure its ok before i go modding the crap out of it that way there's no excuse for the dealership god forbid. Work will go ahead this or next weekend though.

lol wait till its the night before, i didnt sleep much....
Just had the news today that my BE has been built and is sitting at the docks in Sheerness in Kent, rather ironic as that's 5 miles down the road from my hometown. Miles and miles away now though living here in Glasgow. Not got a delivery date fixed yet but i'm asking for the 23rd.... can't wait. Just got to sell the current motor now.... *sigh*

Haha, not at all counting! Its only been 189 days so far since I ordered! There will be very little sleep on thursday, that's for sure.

Just been told that mine is being put together this week too, so they may well be on the production line together. 4 weeks to go...finally a light at the end of the tunnel!
