Hi Guys,

This will be my first time using Audi directly for a service. I've done 6k since I got my car, and the oil lights on, so phoned Audi and they're wanting £265 for an oil & filter change on an S3, is that price correct?

That's more like a full service price.

You can do an interum service for £99 which is just a filter and oil change.

If your oil light came on, did you not check the levels yourself? You might just have been low on oil so you should've just topped up.

I've just had oil and filter done by my local VW Audi specialist £65 all in Audi charge top bucks your better off finding a remittable local specialist. Ask other forum members or go on edition 38 and ask people to recommend one.

I knew the oil was low, the light came on and I've topped it up with 1 litre as I wanted it properly changed, and not just topped up.

On 2 occasions I have spoken to Glasgow Audi, 2 different people and have been quoted that price. I won't lie ands say it's the first time their incompetence has caused me to go elsewhere, but I wanted to keep the service booked with genuine stamps.

I am now pretty angry as 2 members of staff have given me wrong information, and when I was actually in the garage I got a girl Yvonne who I had spoken to earlier on the phone and basically lied to my face saying she had not been answering the phones all day.

Who do I goto to get some genuine advice in the garage itself, as I feel now their staff are not fulfilling their duties correctly?

Have you tried phoning Ayr Audi? Its an easy job you can do yourself, its just the lack of Audi stamp in the book!
