hey all 9 years tomorrow since the dreadful disaster happend at the WTC
what were you doing when this happened?

i was installing central heating in my then new house with my dad.

I just had a phone call to say I was having an interview for a job I was really badly after, got the job too, good thing un all as its where I met my one and only and who eventually became my wife a few years later.

Was also on my way to take my mum shopping, she came down and went mad at me for not being ready and putting an action film on again!!! Only for me to explain to her that this aint no film, this is real life, as i went thru every channel on TV to prove it!!

A day to remember.

Due to the nature of my work and my late nights out, I was lying in bed. I remember switching the TV on to see a building in smoke not knowing it was one of the twin towers, then it hit me as I flicked through the channels to see the same picture, and also got to see the 2nd building get struck live on TV!

I was in the lock at the bottom of the submarine escape training tank, about to do the 30m run when it was aborted and i got pulled out and we were taken to one of the classrooms, and was told that a plane had just flown into the world trade centre.
We all thought it was some sort of wind up, untill we saw the pictures on Sky news.

I was installing a phone system for a client in berkshire, when someone said a plane had flown into a building in New York, its only when we got home that we saw the extent of it, I will never ever forget that day, it made me so angry & seeing the people jumping, will never go out of my mind.

Did anyone watch the doumentary later on of the 2 french brothers who were recording about the NY Fire Department, now that was something to watch later on, my god, unreal & also something never forgotten, when the 2 brothers find eachother it really does make anyone feel very emotional aswell.

Thing is it didnt just kill those 3k people, its also killed/killing untold more from the dust & rescue/clearup teams, its a continuing problem, I've watched a few documentaries on this, really the catalysts of whats its done in the aftermath aswell is horrendous.

I hope they catch that ******* & all associated & make him & them suffer for the rest of there miserable lives, death is too easy in my eyes.

It was the last day of the summer holiday before I started year 8.

I was at my mate's house playing Command and Conquer or something when his sister shouted from downstairs that a plane flown into one of the Twin Towers.

I was on maternity leave and sitting watching tv when it flashed on and I saw it live when it happened and the second hit! I was shocked and speachless! What unfolded was unbelieveable!

There were a lot of heros that day and too many lost their lives. The ones who jumped and the calls that were recorded were heart wrenching! The plane where the people tried to take it over and crashed it was soo sad and they saved soo many doing that but lost their own lives. Needless loss of life and I also hope the ones responsible, and who are still planning things like this, I hope they rot in hell.

Life is for living and in this day and age we should have learnt how to live in harmony! But man will destroy it all one day.....

They are now rebuilding the site but it will never be the same, and love goes out to the families who lost loved ones!

i was actually at my local audi dealer, mine A3 had packed up on my way to uni and had just been recovered there.

Remember calling my dad to tell him and he didn't believe it, and how at first we thought it was an accident......

I was busy working when a mate come and told me that we'll be having to get ready for combat !
he also remembered me telling him about a dream I had about a plane crashing and a skyscraper falling down..a bit weird.

RIP all the people who died that day and all the subsequent action following it,cannot help but think it was staged as too many things do not weigh up
Loose Change 2nd Edition Recut

Me and my brother had just got away from work early so headed to the pub for a game of pool, as soon as we walked in the door my mate was watching it live on sky, obviously thinking it was just an accident,

A few minutes passed and my mate said " another plane has just hit the buildings, that's when we thought "oh ****" :(

Seen that before and I also think it's a bit suspicious.

I was on deliveries with work so finished early, was at home dozing on the sofa. Just channel hoping to see if anything was on before going for a nap and saw one of the towers ablaze, it was on all the channels which woke me up thinking this is serious. Was living at home back then, told my Mum and we sat and watched it and the second plane hitting the other tower live on air.

I was picked up from school by my g/dad and he was telling me in the car on the way home. Then went home and the news was on. I can even tell you what colour his clothes were that he was wearing when he picked me up!

You know something has had a big impact when you remember EXACTLY what you were doing 9 years ago. RIP :(

+1 on Loose Change

I was in a hotel room in Wichita Kansas, got up just before 9.00, put the tv on, went for a shower and saw it live on the news when I came out. I had a flight booked at lunchtime to get to North Carolina for a training program but all flights were being cancelled. I used the hire car I had and drove there, it took me 2 1/2 days.
When I pulled up at the junction before my turn off I got sideswiped by another car and wrote off the hire car, nearly a thousand miles and got wrecked 200 yrds before my destination. 1972 440 Olds 1 - 2000 Sebring 0. I managed to get it to the side of the road, got my bags out , left it there and walked off.
I was due to fly back to the UK two days later, it was six days before I could get a flight.

Where my wife works (financial place in the city) several people were on the phone to workers in offices in the Trade Center and the lines just went dead, at the time they didn't know why. But how traumatic is that to find out the person has died while you were talking to them?

I was working in a health club at the time and went in to collect my pay slip. The receptionist said one of the members had told her a small plane had crashed into the World Trade Centre.
I went upstairs to the cardio area as we always had the news channel on one of the 6 or so tvs up there and about 5 mins after I started watching the second (not small) plane hit the other tower + I realised how serious it was. Very shocking & everyone in the gym stopped using the equipment and just stood there in disbelief.

I was at home at the time playing on the computer. My mum came in and said that America was under attack.

Seen that before and I also think it's a bit suspicious.

Loose Change was made by a 17 year old in his bedroom. Hes a paranoid idiot and all of the "Facts" in the video have been widely discredited. Its an insult to the families of those who died.

I was at a meeting at work. After I returned to the office, there were crowds of people gathering around other people's PCs watching BBC News 24 via Intranet TV. I heard that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Centre. So I tried to load up the News on my PC but the network didn't respond because of the high volume of traffic (this was at BT). So I gathered round one of the PCs that managed to stream the News and saw that one of the twin towers had already collapsed. I watched in disbelief, couldn't believe this was real!

i was in geography in year 9 i think... my head of geo came into our class crying and wispered to my teacher and she was like ok class.. Americas under terrorist attack...

they brought the tv into our class and let us watch the news..

i remember going home from school watching CNN for like 8 hours straight... life changing experience that was.. still gives me major goose bumps whenever i think of it! my uncle was meant to be there on a business trip that day!! not actually in towers but down wall st!!

Try this one its a two hour one but covers a lot of things with scientific analysis 9/11: Blueprint for Truth - 2008 Edition | Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth the frontman is an Architect who at the time was in charge of a 400 million dollar building project,I like the bit where the goverment gave 600 thousand dollars to research the collapse put that against the 40 million they paid to find out who the owner of the liquid on Monica Lewinksys dress was :)

Was in bed with flu watching it all happen live on CNN, coverage was amazing like watching a film.

Still haunts me now though.

I agree did you watch the documentary where they played alot of the phone calls from inside the towers, then it all went quiet, horrible.

I was having a shag, it was on the Tv in the background, as bad as this may sound, i was busy getting me nob wet to worry about what the world was doing,

but i dont want to get started on the 911 was an inside job one as i am a nutter and i know it, i get the funny looks when i get started on the new world order agenda,

i get me coat, hold on!

I was at work when it happened, my friend had a radio at his workstation and told me, I went home and watched every news channel for about 12 hours then went bed for a couple of hours and went back to work.

The funny thing is, I can remember it like it was yesterday but cant believe how quickly the years have gone by since it happened....

Was in school in year 7 in an lesson when i heard and we watched when the second plane hit. Was terrible
Can remember quite a few teachers were upset.

RIP to every one who lost there life on that day
