Cal

Guys pro detailer for a few months and
This is so far the best hth

I use a few type's of speed detail spray's, at the moment we are testing Porboys QD+. Zaino Z-6. Both are very good.

Thanks chaps ! Do these really keep you wax 'topped' up after a wash ? I have used turtle wax at work and seems to be ok but was unsure how it compared to others .

mate for the price of turtle wax(which is ***** imo) you may aswel put a few more pounds to it and get a decent wax dude. collonite 915 is amazing. petes 53 is a nice soft wax. Dodo hard candy, Purple haze, Blue velvet etc are all good waxes. depends on wot colour is your car then CYC will have it for your car

You have to prep the car. First up is to get all the car's panel's absolutely spotless.Wash and Clay the whole car then apply a good polish. then apply a glaze allow to dry before buffing off next up is a sealant (ie CG jet seal) again allow to dry, then apply a good max (thin coat) buff off apply a 2nd coat 10-24 hour's later (some waxes vary). Your SD will work better and last longer.

If you are after a quick detailer then I'm afraid there is only 1 Product that fits - Zaino Z8. It is THE best detailing spray I've used and others will agree, check out DW forums for info.

Ive recenty invested in some G techniq stuff. Diluted down and apparantly lasts ages. Will let you know how it goes.
I have Z8, Red Mist, Poorboys, etc and found that red mist smells the nicest :D

Not that my comment helps in anyway lol!

This.

And I also mis-read the original poster's forum name . . .

Please do, I will be doing a write up on the C4 and how that holds up on my arch liners :)

I use Megs - I generally use it afetr I've washed and dried - before I polish / wax - or as a quick option if I need a quick spotless finish. Over time it has definately helped the appearance of my car - I've even used it this morning!

Most Important though - make sure your clothes are clean and the car is absolutley clean and free of any dust, grit etc

I ordered C2, G1 and I1.

I used it on a jag over the weekend and the stuff was easy to apply and buff off leaving a nice shine. Then I mixed a diluted version of the C2 for the owner to keep topping up.
I will review the protection in a few months time.

I've always used Clearkote Quikshine which is excellent. FK425 & Pinnacle Crystal Mist are good too.
I've just acquired some Z6 so see how that goes.
TBH as a 9/10 QD I'd go for some Clearkote QS. You can buy it in concentrated form which works out cheaper. ;-)

I've tried a few of these, but my favourite is Meguiars Ultimate Quik Detailer, it's a good finish to the wax and i have tried it as true detailer once and didn't seem to do the paint any harm. The water beading is immense! check out the video on you-tube- it really does that in real life!

One word of warning, don't breath it in, on my life- everytime i was use it my nose hurt's the day after....true!
