September the 1st is finally here. I know a lot of people were holding off until today to pick new cars up... Have things gone to plan???

I went to Audi Northampton to pick my car up after it had some warranty work done and saw a couple picking up a nice White TTS '60 plate, stunning.

I wish i could afford a 60 plate Audi to be honest, saw an old man in a 60 plate Fiat Panda, was a sexy purple colour too.

I should of.... but apparently giving Audi 3.5 months notice isn't enough! It's being built next week so should have it by the end of the month. The dealer has told me he will rush it through when it lands in the UK however I think a lot of his customers are in the same boat. The wait continues...
Not an Audi but made me laugh anyway! Saw a 60 plate Scirocco yesterday at a petrol station and the elderly lady drove it straight over a kerb - what a waste of a new car!

Moving to the dark side chaps! Got a 60 plate 335d coupe coming in a couple of weeks. The A3 is staying within the family however as its been a real trooper over the last 3 years.

Came home tonight to find a neighbour has 60 plate A3 TDI sat on his drive. Looks kinda odd - didn't recognise it as being new at first.

Well i saw a black A4 yesterday morning at 7:30am and a BMW today, then a brand new A3 S3 SB in Coalville but he had a personal reg on it already. id have to let the 60 air for a month at least lol.
That was probably me in the S3 mate was it white and reg J9 ***??? Had it 2 weeks now and reason I did't wait for the 60 plate is because it is leased so future value doesn't really bother me, although when I have the option to buy in 3 years I may be able to get it a bit cheaper as it would have been on 59 plate

Oh cool i see, did think that, i saw you at the Morrison's round about but it took me till that long straight down to the A42 to catch you, i was in a BMW touring had a stare at Tesco Round about as you went left. Looked really nice chap was joking that i should try and pull you over to my friend on the phone as i haven't seen the new wheels in the flesh yet. i live in swad.
Thanks mate I am really pleased with it and the new wheels are nice, still not sure if I prefer the old BE ones but these must be easier to clean! The weird thing is I live in Church Gresley, so basically swad. Come and have a look at the wheels if you want? (PM me)

Picked mine up on Wednesday. It was kinda eery at the dealers with hardly any new cars going out. Apart from a couple at the dealers the only other 60 I've seen was a Mitsi Lancer.

Surely it would of been a 10 plate and not a 59?? 59reg finished in February 2010....

Not many were going out of my local dealers either. Apparently the March reg is more popular plus as it shows the year i.e 10 for 2010 which people seem to prefer rather than the 59 or 60 etc in September...
My is due 30th Oct ...! We will see. As long as it arrives before end Dec and the new VAT increase.
It will have my personal plate on it so not that bothered about being a 60 plate, but my daughter kept telling me to drive arounbd on the 60 plate till at least March...
Not sure I can bothered, more interested in the car than the plate...

If anyone is looking for a March reg then they'd better get their orders in now!! I enquired about getting an S3 Sportback last week and was told that I could expect a March delivery. I was also told a guy just ordered a Q5 last week and they don't expect it to come in until May or June!!! Audi really need to get their finger out!
seen a lovely 60plate black edition earlier only thing that let it down was the single exhaust at the back.
From what I can establish it is the 1.2 petrol and the 1.6TDi and 2.0TDi (140BHP) that are the single pipe. All others are twin pipes. I have on order a 170BHP Quattro and am now glad I did...

A woman at our place enquired about the new A1. She was told Audi uk wont even have one to view until March! And if she orders one expect Sept 2011 deilvery at the earliest! WTF!
The little overpriced thing will fly out of the shrowrooms too, all the anticipation gets some folk all excited!
