some of you will say its pointless...... but its something i wonna do lol.

right, i don't like the standard 1.6 inlet manifold, seems like it waste to much time with pipes ect.

i would like to get a inlet plenum like the 1.8T is it possable ?

thanks Jay

No.

Seriously mate, i know what it feels like wanting to chuck money at a car, i came from a corsa c 1.2 at 19 to a audi s3, i only painted the wheels on the corsa and saved the rest up for a s3, im so glad i did. Just save your money until you can buy a 1.8t onwards.

i've came from a corsa C aswell lol.

i'm moving on from audi next year, going for a porsche next.

in the mean time just trying to get a few extra BHP before i go back to the ring again next month

I'd save the money and buy new alloys or just save for a 1.8

this is my A3

needs a clean, i also want to get rid of the crappy front bumper, hate the plastic bit

What porsche you getting? Bit of a jump from a 1.6 a3, lol.

If your getting a porsche next year why bother doing anything to the a3?

cos i got it for another 12 months, just want a little more power until next year.

i'm going to the nurburgring again next month, so would like a little more bhp

No matter what you do mate you aint going to get anything worthy from the 1.6 unless you TB, turbo or supercharge it, and i'm guessing you wont be doing any of them, haha.

It's going to very very difficult to get anymore bhp out of your 1.6 Jay, 101bhp standard, i would get it dyno'd to see what it has lost over the years.

Give it a good service, new set of plugs, new leads, new air filter, new fuel filter, a full tank of v-power and some lowering springs:)

it had a full service the day i got it.

all filters replaced
oil change
new plugs and leads
coolent flush
i always run it on V-power, i've used redex aswell.

Can't lower due to track gong to work :(

its being put on the dyno/rolling road next week. i'm hoping to see 90 at the least tbh

Fair enough, sounds like you've done the best to get the most out of it bud, get it dyno'd but don't spend too much money on getting that extra 5bhp with ££££'s, you could save the cash, sell your 1.6 and get a 1.8t for the time being, then get your Porsche:)
