The summer holidays has gone really quick this year! Next week the kids are back in school! :jump:(only for 2 days)

We're going to Blackpool (wasn't my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice, but hey, at least the boy will enjoy!)

So, where are you taking the kids this weekend? (to make it memorable for them to tell the teachers).

My daughter doesn't go back until the week after next, but might take her to the Notting Hill Carnival this weekend.

My ex missus is taking my little one to Torquay this weekend, and most of next week, so I won't have my little one this weekend at all.

Which sucks.

Sounds Fab!

Sorry to hear that, what have you got planned instead?

I'm thinking of these places for us to visit, whilst @ Blackpool:

Louis Tussauds Waxworks
Tower Circus
Sealife Centre
Blackpool Zoo
Sandcastle Waterpark
Pleasure beach

Not sure what else there is....

I'm working on the Monday  but am visiting a pleasant place on Saturday with my eldest,I googled it and it came up with this image

It's beautiful up there Helen, you will enjoy it. I know it's prob not your first choice, but make the most of it.

It's one of our favorite getaway places, has sentimental value for us and we enjoy mooching on the beach and stuff

Cheers Mark. Did you enjoy Legoland? or is it this weekend you're going?

not sure yet, funds are tight.

Need to pop over your place and check the car out soon, and the kids go back soon, AAARRGGHH too much to do, so little time

Lol. The car desperately needs tlc, I've got insurance and tax but it's sitting there all poorly. Maybe I should let it r.i.p. and bury it.

Bank Holidays = stay at home can`t stand the traffic jams

I'm not looking forward to the traffic jams! but it will be ok - we'll be fine! (so I keep telling myself lol)
We'll stock up with munchies, and not buy over priced crap in the services!
