Yorkshire Meet....

So guys and gals, been thinking it's time for a yorkshire meet, seems like theres a few of us on here now so thought it's time we did a meet .

Now i was thinking somewhere central, maybe barnsley haha, seriously though, if anyone can think of a good place to do a meet then post it up, would like to get as many of the 8l group together, the meet is open to other models etc but i thought id just post it in the 8l section.

I know we've lost a few yorkshire members, cant think of their names off the top of my head but they dont seem to come on anymore, but like i said lets try and get a meet in before the weather turns even shiter .

i say the pub just off junction 36/7 is it? loads of car clubs meet there as the car park is huge.....

Yeah its called the post office, there's alweays a car meet going their, I'm up for it, its quite central, should be good for dave an andrew so no excuses.

Na, someone keyed down one side 4 days after i bought it, 3 years on ive only just got motivated to do it as a few other bits needed doing too...namely the rear number plate trim and a repair on the rear bumper....

Well i work every other saturday so either saturday should be good.

next Sat would prob be best for us, although hers is in for the MOT @ 12pm so a bit tied regards time, any other weekend would be a maybe due to me having to fit her parents a new fence (maybe 2 weekends) - why i volunteer for these things is beyond me

how big is the new fence ??? just done 6 panels in 2 days and that was in clay, took some right digging and those 9ft concrete posts arn`t light

luckily this ones only 4ft above and 18 inch below mate, just last weekend did the 9footers at my parents..... trouble is you really cant lift them in with help, you have to do them alone, lifted a 9ft corner one yet? i still have the scratch marks down my shoulder where i lowered it in haha...those were with 28 inch below ground, gravel board and 6 foot panel (without planning permission )

yup done a corner on ... ouch, try the concrete bottom boards they are nasty. Have you got a newcastle drainage tool ??? its a long thin curved spade that is great for digging tight post holes
