Has anyone got a decent guide for fitting a TIP?

It's pretty straight forward mate to be fair.

Remove pipe from MAF, remove N75, remove oil breather, remove diverter valve.

Undo jubilee clip that secures it to the turbo. Give the original TIP an good pull to get it off. Spray a bit of WD40 around the inside of the TIP end going on to the turbo, slide on, jubilee clip up, refit everything.

Done.

Ok, cheers bud! Am sure i'll be back askign for help once if Tit'sd it up!

Got a weekend of fitting Coilovers, TIP, DV, Air Filter and hopefully new Brakes and hopefully organise a re-map all in time for the Le mans trip!

Steady Welly me ol' mucker... Mick, is your car an S3 or an A3 as they are different... S3 is as simple as Welly has suggested although maybe not the WD40 on the turbo end of the TIP in my experience... hairspray works better as it will evaporate without leaving oily residue which could cause the TIP to vibrate off the end of the turbo...

If you have an A3 then good luck! LOL... its a bit trickier on an A3, A3Tom has done an install guide somewhere on here for the A3

Hey? My A3 was easy enough dude, I followed exactly that process..... LOL. I I like WD40 so there! :p

EDIT: Oh, the metal intake elbow!! I forgot about that....

only tip i would give is use a ratchet to undo the jubilees, some have tried with a screwdriver which will make your life very miserable as you have to undo most jubillees by feel

Guys, to save a new thread have i missed anything obvious:

Looking to get around the 200BHP Mark. AGU K03 Turbo.

TIP
Uprated Air Filter - worth running a better cold air feed from the bumper?
Forge 007
Miltek Cat Back
Custom Map

Also shortly be ordering Jamex Coilovers and some decent brakes. Sadly can't afford to go the K03S route as well coilovers/brakes and daren't put any more power through the shoddy Standard Brakes/Suspension.

Coming from a Slammed Clio with Brembo's it feels like a boat standard!

The speakers are Mordaunt Shorts yep :)

as for getting about 200bhp out of your A3, the spec you're going for is pretty much what I have so you'll be knocking on the door of 200bhp as long as the cars pretty healthy. You'll really struggle to get over 200bhp from a KO3 though as they just run out of puff. Saying that the KO3 AGU is nice to drive with a stage one map on it so you'll be well happy.

I think a recent forum 'upgrade' is to blame here... this means that all previously posted links to threads/posts within the forums could well be ********...

URL rewriting at its worst :(

Using the power of my IT background and swapping bits of the actual URL about I came up with this..

Ah cheers Tuffty, thought it would be strange that it would of been deleted. Hm I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to write a script to fix all those links, could get annoying if all of them are like that!
