Mood Lighting

Is there a factory option for the A3 for mood lighting, if not as anyone ever tackled a DIY at it.

I want somthing like this from the s class or this audi a8

not that i know of all they do as far as im aware is the ambient lighting that goes in the roof when you have got the lighting pack but it would be a really good idea tho if someone has a crack at doing a bit of d.i.y for this mod ive been in a A8 at night it looks awesome , i was thinking of doing something like this in my own car

Hmm looks like a project then, just been having look around, but it looks like it may be pretty diffcult without cutting and drilling bits out and finding someway without it looking chavv.

Flipin heck, dont tell Nige otherwise that'll be another control module hidden in somewhere with the rest of them, I have heard he has a glove box full of them, the Lea told me he hadn't got a glove box as the dash is in bits still. It's goin to look like the wiring out of Concorde when he's finished.

Audi call it the "Interior Light Pack". It includes footwell lights, door puddle lights, interior door handle lights and ambient overhead lights. Well worth speccing on a new car.

There is a very comprehensive thread on here somewhere if you have a search that shows you how to do the mods yourself and with LEDs if that floats your boat.

haha sounds like he likes to play around with his car one of my mates is like that to he has got a in car pc sat tv dvd player and all more i bet his car is like that behind the dash lol

Has anybody got any pictures of the Interior Light Pack in the night as I've spec'd it on the new car which is on delivery but not really sure what it looks like?
