I'm not a happy chappy, lol. Since haveing my wheels done on friday the back of the car has been creaking and moaning, and not a good moan, haha.
The car had to have the back seats down thursday and friday for transporting tyres around, i out the seats back up saturday and since then they seem to flex and creak on the drivers side, i'm pretty sure its the seats, had a look over the car while they fitted the wheels and all seemed fine and it was fine with the seats down, checked to see if they loose etc but there fine.
They are now doing my tits in, any ideas?

Isnt the word, thing that p*sses me off, it wasnt doing before.

i noticed mien after i had my wheels off. but my car was jacked up on stands for the whole night from there rear .so nto sure if ive damaged anything lol

Take the seats OUT of the car then refit them.
Bet it doesnt do it again.

How do you take them out? I dropped them again today, moved them what little i could and put them back up, havent been out yet to see if its fixed it.

pull them forward and push the clips inwards to release.... easy peasy

my chuffin passenger seat wont stop.....ive packed it with foam pads and its still doing it!!

I get creaks for the front passenger seat if its in just the wrong position on the runners. The inside bolster rubs on the centre arm rest.

hmmm, might try a different spot on the runners then, ive tried moving everything else and i have no arm rest...... think its where the plastic mouldings are rubbing - could do with sitting as a passenger as the misus is **** at diagnosing :)

You mean the clips on top of the seats, the black leaver thingys or do you mean other clips?

na mate, pull the plastic clip as if you are folding it forwards to lower the seats, they will pivot of two metal clips which will bend out of their seats to release the whole base

Argh i get you, then just lift out and refit like paul said!

Mine where doing this after i had them down, but i had them down for a bit again , and put them back up, stopped creaking, is annoying though.

Does re-fitting sort this? Mine do it. Mrs was so helpful in pinpointing it when she was in the back - "No I can't hear it, dunno what you're on about..."

Hahaha well another mates mrs is Keith cheggers so she gets auto shotgun ;) backs way too small anyhow ;)

I gave it a once over today while cleaning the car and noticed the loop for the latch was a bit worn and polished. Odd because the passenger side is mint. Chucked a bit of inox spray grease on it so fingers crossed its quiet. I doubt it though, it'd be far too simple.
