it's not necessarily just the S3 brigade mate....tell me a car that has chrome around its back lights these days and gets away with it....... not including your Kia's or similar budget vehicles

You've all had your 5 minutes of fun ! You don't wanna see them you'll just fall over laughing.......apparently judging by the reaction no one has ever seen anything this bad and yet they show me pictures 10 times worse.

Not a fan, BUT i "play it safe" so would never go for something this way out.

well, blow me down - someone else somewhere thought of something similar. I don't think he's used cheap chrome strips like me so they certainly look better fitted. I would be curious where he got them ? But my advice would be to:
a. Lose the MASSIVE exhaust(s)
b. Lose all the extra stickers eveywhere.
c. Lose the alloys - and no I'm not in favour of chrome alloys
d. Lose what's going on , on the bonnet (i.e aerial, air intake vented grilles ?)
e. The mini spoiler on the boot lid -not 100% convinced.
f. Lose all the dark tints on the windows. I Don't mind dark (range +50 to +75%), but not black.
g. number plates look odd in their spaces on both ends of car.
h. lose the led indicators beneath the side indicators (I think that's wha tthey are ?)

Overall, the chrome on the silver car does not add extra impact as much as a darker car and there's nothing I see I wish to replicate. Only the actual chrome strips used look better than my cheap ones.

I am removing my chome strips from thr lower rear spoiler - i think it's just drawing attention to that part and it's quite dirty and simply cannot clean it.

Why the hell is there an antenna sticking out the middle of the bonnet? I cant take looking at these S3,s, its makeing me upset lol

if you had a bogey stuck to your chin would you like to be told.....yes of course you would, how you are told depends on who spots it due to their personality, if it was a small bogey you would likely to get less ribbing, if it was a huge crustacean then you would be more likely to get more grief - naturally

my point here is that everyones response is different, whilst you cant understand mosts peoples responses you should know that i am sat here thinking the same about yours..... two fold fella

plus in this instance you need to be cruel to be kind

Listen folks, good or bad comments - it really doesn't bother me . Being rude, although I can still take, there would be no call for it. Make your point on what you don't and do like and move on. When I see an S3, however ugly something might be I try and see some positives in it and put both accross NOT just the negatives - after all there's an S3 base to begin with. So a big RESPECT to those who commented, at least, that my car was a good one even though they didn't like the chrome.

Ultimately, it's your car to do with what you wish.

Many people makes jokes about my black bonnet and roof.... F*ck 'em, because I like it, and that's what counts. It makes ME happy when I look at it.

If you like it, more power to you, it's not my cup of tea is all. However, it is certainly different.

black roof and bonnet....now that's unique - where/what are your influences behind that idea ? I've seen the black stripe thing going down the entire centre of a car, but not what you have.
