2005 Sportback S3 bumper fit 53 plate 3 door A3?

Part number for the bumper is 8P0 807 105 D GRU which is an S3 sportback bumper only priced at £232.20

Question is. I have a 53 plate audi a3 2.0tdi 3 door will this bumper fit aslong as i get the correct bonnet. I will not have to change the wings?

Probably don't have to change the wings but you'll need new headlights as well
as a new bonnet. Short answer = not worth it. Get a prefacelift one

By you saying s3 sportsback sounds like its for the newer S3 so wont be a direct fit. Have to change quite a bit. Does the bumper look like mine in my sig? If so that will fit just need to change the bonnet aswell. Call Audi and check the part number aswell

Not to hand as in work but can get it when i've finished it that helps. You looking to buy new from audi?
If so just call them with an S3 reg you get off autotrader and they can quote price and part number

Yeah am looking to buy new as id rather it be perfect to spray as i spray myself wont end up costing so much. Payed more for vauxhall vxr bumpers in the past. What year s3 do i need to look for to get the correct bumper that will fit my car?

2006-2008 just before the new facelift came out with the new led headlights. Or just say 2006-2007.

sportback and 3doors are the same from the wings on so as long as its pre58 its fine and judging by the 8p0 code it is so yes, you will need to trim the cras bar new bonnet and new fogs

I dont understand i got quoted the part number being 230 pounds and benskin phoned straight after me with a price of over 300? but surely its the same bumper benskin gave a s3 reg plate.

different dealers charge different prices. they're all independent companies and buy parts off Audi. they'll have different transport costs, overheads etc. the amount of profit they wanna make on parts is up to them. Best bet is to call around and get the dealers to fight for your business. they very very rarely don't match each other. they'll even match independents in a few cases with things like tyres, so you might as well try your luck here too.

still feel your best bet is eBay. chances are the parts are gonna be from stolen cars, but someone else's loss can be your gain. (not that i'm suggesting that it's in any way ethical to profit from someone else's misfortune, but it's the sad truth of the world we live in.)
