Boxster was given the full wash stage and brought inside ASAP to escape the rain.
Once garaged, all exterior panels were clayed with Elites fine grade polyclay and ONR as lube.
Wheels were then off and back outside to be cleaned:
After lots of taping, masking and spraying, the four hubs were treated.
And with the freshly sealed wheels back on:
(Wish I had the before pictures now!)
Bill the dog was kept entertained by playing ball whilst the owner was out. Rain or no rain, he wanted to play (Infact, he was quite the hero; charging up and down the garden barking when it was thundering to try scare it away!)
Swirls and bodyshop defects spotted:
Having removed all contaminants with the clay bar, Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite was then used to clean, prep and add the glazing oils.
303 Fabric Guard applied:
Collinites durable 476s wax then applied.
Boxster S lettering cleaned up with a cotton bud and Jeffs Prime.
At this point I was getting bored of the wet, soggy and smelly toys that kept appearing on my lap (courtesy of Bill of course!) Five hours ago it was fun.
Locked up!
Glass cleaned with 3M Glass Cleaner:
A few final exterior details:
Interior taken care of with AS G101 and LTTs leather system.
A final wipeover and were almost there.
Bills on the run again; he cried too much and I felt guilty keeping him locked up.
