Maybe change the indicator bulbs for some chrome orange ones instead of the standard orange bulbs unless there is an orange filter inside the light?

Any chance of some pic's of them on outside when it is light?

For some reason, all the aftermarket ones I have seen so far, just aint as bright as oem ones during the day.

How do you find them?

looks good with the white paint matey i agree with the above get some chrome bulbs in there it will look miles better

love them, might get them my fav. are P+P,s ones on his stunning s3 conversion. but they ****** expesive. ps love the wheels. are they as bright as the others at night?

They don't quite have the same impact as the OEM ones but I guess that's to be expected for any aftermarket 'made in china' lamp, they are only a fraction of the price! The bottom strip of LED's look more intense than the ones that run up the side of the lamp. Would be interested to see what the beam pattern and cutoff is like through those projectors too.

Where did you get these from the look the best aftermarket ones I've seen yet and could possibly be interested. How much were they.

Cheers
Tom

Cant get that link working without signing up, You going for the whole shabang? Wings, bonnet etc?

yeah everything on my s3 its just beingpainted as we speak, worth registering over on vagoc, lot of us scots on there too youre missing out

Ι like them alright, but nothing beats the OEM bi-xenons if u ask me. I`m not talking about the Led- xenons, just the ones the 8P2 has

I did most of it, the only part that tricked me was the wiring for the LEDs so I took it to a shop for that.

What kind of bulb is that? Any chance of sending a link?

I haven't had time to take them yet but as soon as I have it I will post it. Yeah that is the only downside, it is not as bright as the oem ones specially from the side but from the front they are about the same.
I found them on a website called DashZRacing

I think so. I've never seen how the oems look at night from the inside but this look awesome

The beam pattern and cutoff are a little weird and they go up on the right side. Since this is my first time doing it I am not sure if it was a mistake on my part or if is just how they are. As soon as I get some night pictures I will post them up

As the beam goes up on the right and you bought them from the USA, could it be perhaps that these are designed for left hand drive cars?

If so, not only will you fail an MOT, but you'll also dazzle oncoming traffic because the bit of the beam that "goes up" and is meant to be on the left side of the car to light the verge, is now on the right and points directly into the oncoming drivers face...

I think the guy who started this thread drives on the left anyway as he is from the USA, please correct me if I'm wrong

nope youre right the tell is the parking lights in the front bumper
yep i agree with this its a bit of a give away but i wonder if you can get them for uk spec cars as i like these lights much better than some of the crap that is out there at the mo

its like with everything i suppose its all down to personal taste and some are better quality than others

I live in Florida so it does not bother the oncoming traffic at all, it goes up near the sidewalk. The only thing that made me curious was the cutoff pattern. I had always thought that projectors were supposed to make a perfect straight cut and not go up but since I am fairly new to this I might be wrong. Any words on that?

In my opinion i dont like them. Look cheap and nasty close up. Dont look too bad once on mind. But nice looking A3 and if your happy with them thats all that matters. So enjoy
