Just got a replacement lid/door from Audi, as mine is scratched to buggery. Removed the whole glove box unit assembly which was easy enough. Getting the door/lid off is a different matter, appears to be on a couple of lugs that dont seem removeable. Anyone done this before?

Oh its a 24Mb file and you only want what is on page 10 and 11

Thanks, they certainly make it easier in the pics, I have managed to get one out, but the other one in the blind hole is impossble to get at

how much did you pay for it dude? as my one has snapped and just need the lid

Right all sorted. Was an absolute pig of a job as the only thing you can get in there is a small flat screwdriver, and you cant see what your even levering out plus th fact there put in with adhesive. Was about £40, on a bit of a mission with it atm, got the TT pedals at the same time, and just orderd some Andymac front speaker brackets and a whole new set of speakers ;)

Hi Jester, I've got a sheered off glove box lid on my 2007 A3 Sport Quattro 2.0 TDI and want to replace it, I assume the dampener will also needs lubricating as well (probably what caused the sheer in the first place). I don't want to go to the steelers for obvious reasons and as this isn't a life threatening part, i'd like to have a go at repairing/replacing it myself. Any chance you have the latest Workshop manual as this one says it's for models from 1997. Or if you have any links to any good walkthroughs on how to remove just the lid preferably or the whole glove box.

Cheers
