Just wondering where you have managed to get the best deals to insure your S3's????

the best I found was admiral which was about £350 for the year for my S3, fully comp with full protected no claims

mine is unmodded btw

some others had quoted my £680+

adrian flux - £1300 (first car, only passed test last week... i am 25 though)

Adrian Flux if your car is modified but I was with Churchill for years prior to that and cost me £280 FC...

<tuffty/>

Admiral for me I was 22 at the time 3 years ncb no points or crashes £750 fully comp before mods.

That sounds cheap to me, but maybe because you are in York ?
Surely you must be looking at double that for someone living in London or maybe I'm wrong ? It's just that you hear stories of youngsters insuring small cars for a fortune let alone a german hot hatch.

Highway insure me through Greenlight, was directline before but they deceided to bump up my premium by £200 quid - apparently something to do with all the bad weather all that was changing was another years ncb, then another £200 for changing my address, that pretty much doubled my premium. :puke2:

Dont forget that insurance takes into account.....

The car (power, security etc..)
Your area,
Value,
No claims bonus's,
Years driving,
Occupation.
Miles per year,
Use of other cars (i.e company cars)
Your Age
Where its kept.

Get them all right & your laughing. Mine could be better really. But all insurance policy's have gone up due to too many people claiming & uninsured drivers hitting & running.

vicious circle - people can't afford to insure them lawfully and yet still own them.
