Audi's in the park - 8th August

at the travel agency they didnt accept to consider my S3 as a bag, so im stuck in Canada

Weather turned out really good (and hot!... thanks Calvin for ordering it up even if it was only until 2:30...)... congrats to everyone for making the effort and we won best club stand... again!! ;P

Sorry to anyone I didn't get a chance to say hi too... good to see all I did though (even you Tim ;))

Hopefully have my car sorted for the next meet at Castle Combe in October... see you all there

Audi Driver International on 9th October.... didn't go last year as my car wasn't done but usually fairly well subscribed...

Last year was quality, massive show and its great to see all the powerful audis getting driven hard on the track!
 
Sorry I couldnt make it this year guys, hope you all had a great time and I'm looking forward to the pics. A certain foreign controversial prime minister put an end to my weekend plans at short notice...grrr.
 
Was a good meet again, didnt get many pics this time round im afraid, was too busy wandering about and catching some sun.

Food was spot on as well, so thanks for that Stace :)
 
Gutted i couldnt get there any earlier.... as nilz said "desi timing" lol!
But there were some nice cars on show!
 
Sorry, i didnt hang around much Sanj, had to head off as the little man was shattered, and we all know now that he is the boss!!!

Ahhh mann missed this :( However did go to a safari park today in canada! Felt like jurassic park! Hope all you guys had fun! Im looking at the pics!

what a really good show!! (will post some pics up later). Bit disappointed that i didnt come and find a few of you, must remember next time to leave the gf and mates at home :) we spent most of the day wandering around the park hung over, reached 2pm ish and just felt like dying so the tent came down :(

exactly fella.... did you not spot the blood shot eyes :) - good to meet ya though matey and loving the matt black on yellow, who did i miss? Nilzy was that yours with the gun metal avus?

I think i'd have stayed longer if i'd have packed the shorts, was far too hot to be wandering around in jeans!

Agreed, jeans was a mistake! I was roasting most of the day....

Got to hear the R8 getting revved though so wasn't all bad....
 
i think i heard that across the park mate haha....boootiful!!!

how nice was that yellow S3 in the show and shine!! what made me laugh was the TT club, all those nice TT's and parked bang behind in the open car park was a brand new TTS - theres irony for you :)

Tim that was mine yea, although there was another one there as well, mine was parked at the back, i did have a look out for you, but didnt know where you were, Welly, i saw your car on the way in, but must've missed you as well...

I think we will have to scrap the window tags next time and get back to basics, with the 1st day at school name tags!!! ;)

Gops get some Jurrasic pics up dude!!

yeah when i pulled up i noticed 'Doctors' with the grey alloys, looks well!!..... am i right in saying this is the last event on the calendar now?
 
No mate, Edition 38 in September and then Audi Driver International in October i think....
 
ooooh edition 38 is supposed to be good int it.... do we have a stand or is it vw only
 
No its VW and Audi, dont think we have a stand, have a look in the UK Events, im sure there is a thread in there, also if we have enough people interested, im sure we could sort a stand up for ourselves??
 
I enjoyed it glad you all didnt hear me break down :( Big thank you too Tuffy, Well & Jonny for helping me out thought i was going home on a tow truck. My car issues being sorted this week :icon_thumright:

This looked like a brilliant event. Gutted to have missed it. The A3 just got some new shoes as well. I would definitely be interested in the club stand if there is one for ED38.

yeah i think we need to contact them regards a stand, i for one would be very interested especially as my bodywork will be sorted by end of next week hehe.....finally have a half decent car to show!!
 
I dont have enough poke or tuck for Edition 38 :D

I'm not 'scene' enough :)
 
Don't think I will bother with E38, every car will be touching the floor on euro rims, no variety.

Think i'll be going up to Audi Drivers in October though, more than likely be taking my car this time as well :whistle2:

The idea of the name tags was to break down some of the barriers, but hey, no one forced you to use em,LOL

Name tags on the people next time and you will all have a "Buddy" to stop you wondering off...
