iv just had a milltek fitted on my 2.0 TDI on thursday and love it!

Where'd you get it done fella? Which remap? You're not a million miles from me & I'm deciding on a remap at the mo...

i got ARP remap and a non resonated milltek done at awesome GTI, gona take it back in a few weeks get coilovers i think. you should get it done makes a massive difference.

now looked at lots of remaps, the chaps on here would say revo but went for a company called remap science in bradford, beltin guys did mine and 2 other cars over a week ago and so far no problems.

how much did it cost andy88 i think a milltek for mine is about £500 ish

I know mate - I had a trial REVO on my S3 and loved it! But I do a slow urban commute every day with little chance to stretch the car and when I do, I'm already fairly heavy footed...:racer:

I didn't think it was worth the extra outlay with the inevitable £1k for a new clutch soon afterwards. But as I keep the car longer temptation gets harder to avoid...

it was around the 300 mark, i got it at a reduced price at the open day on sunday.

Yeah, seen them mentioned a few times as well. Not interested in a remap myself, the updated Audi map was a big step up on it's own anyway and IMO on a non-turbo'd car it's not really worth it .

Still not spotted you about!

Sorry but we need to see the graphs, before and after. The possibilities are endless as to what is going on here. Was it running badly and it now runs properly ? Did you have a standard part of the map replaced ? In my experience you need to judge this in 3-4 weeks time when the map has settled down. The best you can hope for is about 10bhp/Lb/ft which to be honest is less than 3-4%. In the tests i carried out i found you could gain 10bhp on 95 to 99 octane but this was not noticeable on the road. As for smooth running ? I would say give the map time to settle and i suspect it will revert back to pre map conditions.....Sorry to Pee on your fire works but i think people who do this should be aware that its not really worthwhile.

hi paddy not been on for a while, when they opened up the file i had a slight missfire it happens over time the car is alot smoother even using the paddles and like yours the esp light flickers when going hard now,not had the best of weeks so i thought what the hell.
