MPG

I get about 300 miles based on my daily commute of 15 miles each way, combination of A-Roads and some town driving. I mainly drive sensibly with the occasional bit of fun on the way home on a Friday!

I was wondering about this as its hard to say but don't think mines right. Unless its me and the way i drive. Mind you it is ultra urban :(

i got 372 on the last tank from full to beep

I get 35miles at best from £10 so that works out 175miles from £50

About the same as me... I get about 150 miiles from £40. It's shocking, I think that works out about 20mpg.

I worked it out a stupid way, 4 miles for a £1

My dash board reckons I adverage 28MPG

The OBC is not that accurate, especially if you have new hardware, in particular a 4 bar FPR, or bigger injectors etc. apart from the usual heavy foot driving and the effect of weight one thing affects our 1.8T engines leaks, majority of the time this makes the car run rich, therefore more fuelling. So make sure there are no split hoses loose clips or loose exhaust. Then you should be getting a better MPG.

£20 did 150 miles. no further. ran out of juice last night haha

Now my car is running right again i get about 30mpg.
Worked out and also shown as 31mpg on the dash.
When it was 200bhp a few weeks ago with a tired fuel pump i was getting 20 mpg.
Now strangely with a new fuel pump and power back around the 290 mark... 30 mpg.
Work that one out,
All i can put it down to is the car throwing extra petrol in to try and sort the fuel preasure issue.
