Radio code

hi peeps just had my clucth done they must of taken the battery out now need code for my radio any ideas on how to find it out also payed 245 for my new clucth slupplyed and fitted is that a good price

I think thats a damm good price, did they change the flywheel as well?

Assuming you have the original radio then the code should be in your owners manual somewhere, if not then Audi are "supposed" to give it to you for free as I believe it says that in the owners manual but I think when I went to them years ago they charged me.

nope they want 320 more for the flywheel but just did not have the money but i must say she is driving alot better already

Check your owners manual if not,

You need to phone Audi & tell them your a garage & your working on said car...(blag). Remove the head unit read them the code on the side of it with your vin number & they "should give it you"

I know someone at Birmingham Audi so he sorted mine for me

just had to get mine as it was never noted on the little card in the manual. Had to take it to the dealers for them to plug their system into the radio unit and send the information via computer to germany! seemed like a lot of fuss tbh thought they might have just been able to punch the details in but obviously not. Took about 45 mins but was free of charge

That a long way round it, they can just punch the details in. Prob wanted to look more pro's doing it that way.
