sorry to sound completely thick
but how do you take the rear no. plate off i popped the black caps off the screws, and they were bolts , i loosened them but they just keep spinning (dont come any looser).

They are probably pretty rusty screws if they are just spinning. Give it a good pull on and it should come off. Only held in by them 2 screws.

the bolts go through the no. plate and into the bodywork im sure, well thats what it looks like. i tried yanking them out but dont want to do any damage as i need to put a new plate on.

Slightly off topic but what Surrounds are you guys using? ive seen a few on fleebay and they look great.

Just remove the tailgate trim and take a peak inside, you may find someone has actually used nuts and bolts, if not it's more likely you will have to break the plate off and cut or pull the screws out

Yeah i would mate. If they are bolted with nuts u'l have the back bit rolling around doing your head in lol.

yeah il have to do that then, ive got one of them wolfsburg surrounds to replace it but would i have to stock that on with double sided tape? or is there somewhere to self tap into on the back of the car?

there are bolts around the back on mine at least but they are welded in place and theyre not moving for ****.

i ended up drilling out the screws.

sticky pads when my new plates come!
