London Volksfest (North Weald this Sunday)

this. its a general VAG day and it has a quarter mile strip as its an airfield.

a bunch of us are going from club gti, a fair few are bringing two cars as there is a small competition going on to see who has the fastest girlfriend hence their cars and our cars!

mine is currently refusing to race unless i get a new anti roll bar on the car tonight. one has a collection of boost leaks that need sorting and one needs a wishbone bush then were all race ready!

Im based in southend, so really quite far from north weald, but the A414 is enough to make the trip worthwhile.

ive got such a packed weekend, i only have until friday evening, at the latest, to get my and the other peoples cars sorted

a bit windy, very open in some places, its a good little run.

i remember years back picking up my sis from stanstead one night, i took the a414 so used to the chelmsford to north weald direction, it was dark, wet and i hadnt driven the road for ages. had a couple heart-in-mouth moments that night, thought i was gonna send the a4 into the bushes a couple times lol

Completely forgot about this show! I might just come! I hope my forge hoses come to replace my boost leaks and if so i'll defo be there on the 1/4 mile!

Breather pipes under the inlet mani where you and Tuffty guessed it was in the topic i put up the other day. You 2 were spot on with that lol.

well if you do come along, theres another a3 im sorting out on the day, ill have the gear to replace the breather under your manifold with silicon.

it turns out a couple friends with a focus rs and a focus st are turning up to spoil the fun... its never fun when the bigger boys spoil the fun, especially if theyre in fords!

Cheers matey that's good of you! I'm hoping it'll come tomorrow and my TT friend is gonna fit it for me so i should be cool!

The Fords don't phase me, i've given a couple ST's beatings before so it shouldn't be that bad.... unless they have some mods! lol
