s3 common faults

coil packs, vaccuum pipe splits, exhaust manifold cracks, turbo cracks, central locking pump failure, alarm siran batterys, window winder plastic things. and the list goes on, but these go across the mk4 platform really

breather hoses... but then thats a given given these cars age

Recaro seat handles!! Both S3s I have owned I have had to repair them!!! Just did mine today on the new S3 :) It's an easy fix and if you do need to buy a new seat lever, it's only a fiver from the stealers.

Theres alot that goes wrong but, you've got to love them!!

There is also a controller switch for your alarm and this should be located on the inside of the driver door pilar and you have to have to push it until the red light comes on and then after shut the door and lock your car the red lights next to the door lock things should start flashing and that is your alarm activated.

Thats turns the interior ultra sonic sensors off mate. Thats all.

yea it all works fine, but siren is dead as ive tried to activate it via vag com and as batterys were mentioned i best look into this before splashing out
