....? not for noise just the best one for the job? im no poser...the standard one is loud after a remap and ive been told i can be losing power through it?

Do a search before starting a new thread dude, been covered soo many times lol.

Forge 007p or Bailey. Doesnt matter, just make sure it's a recirculating dump valve.

Be a sheep and get a Forge 007p. :jester:

The standard OEM works just fine. Had mine on for years and not a single problem and after a stage 1 map my 1.8T 150bhp has gone upto 196bhp.. :)

i dont buy mods unless they actually do something, I held off uprating my DV for over a year before trying a 007p on mine - i am too concious of the placebo effect......safe to say it gives a slight throttle response and made me go straight to JBS and buy one (literally)...... so for a mapped car i would definately recommend the Forge, dont know much about the Bailey :)

so is there gona be any change? if the standard one is ok? its just really loud you could barely hear it before the remap

Worth sticking on a non mapped car ?

i would say no...as above it took me ages to be convinced to change but wouldnt think the benefit would be as obvious on an unmapped car.....

plus i only paid £70 for my 007p which made it a little better, any more and id have passed as i dont think its worth anymore given what it does

Im only paying £70 tops for one any how. I do plan for mapping soon as funds are ready

Just ordered 007p £73 from S3bam, im planning a remap, otherwise I would have bought oem.

You fitting it after the remap or before ? Dencar

Can anyone show results of any BHP Gains from fitting a Forge 007? I seriously doubt theres much gains to be had from a standard OEM to a Forge. Ok maybe you get a little better Throttle Responce and a better sound when changing gear but if a few BHP worth the £70?

Prob with standard valve is they can last 100k(or more) or they can last 8k.. ive seen a tt with 8k on and the standard valve was knackered...

Forge is servicable, far superior in build quality,Does help with throttle response and with correct spring fitted holds better peak boost..

As for power increase its not designed as a modification as such its just a far superior part to o.e

Can anyone show they hold boost better. the reason im asking is ive running a OEM on a Stage 2 CC map with no probs at all and wondered if theres any proven point to upgrading..

I ordered a Forge 007p from s3bam on here, great service arrived next day. will be fitting it shortly prior to a remap.
