Finally got my TT-RS brakes fitted to the A3 :) Along with the S3 rear setup, it's a perfect balance!!!

I haven't tried/had the need for braking hard, i'm too scared to

I appreciate that not everyone will like the colour, but my car is all dark colours and i wanted these to stand out! I think i've done well on that

Comments please :)

It's a really weird feeling, coz i hardly touch the pedal and it's like i'm braking quite firmly in any other car

I just don't ever want to have to do an emergency stop

Looks good

You need to test the braking though. I suspect the ABS will be overwhelmed and the tyres will lock which isn't very safe

People have fitted much bigger and stronger brakes then these before with no such issues. Saying that though bigger isn`t always better with brakes either. Fitting huge calipers ( Audi RS4 ) to a car that doesn`t have enough oil in the system to pressurize the system properly which causes spongy brakes is a common thing i have seen.

Evening Sarah.
Yeah brakes do look good and also like those alloys as well. Thinking of getting some for my R32.

Hiya Mickey! hows the car doing?????? They would look great on your R32!!!

Hey Jord, loving the green, nice and bold!

R32 going great. Scaring lots of small children and little furry animals on the way to work. Costs me as much as a high class hooker to play with mind you but still great fun. You should come down to Devon for a ride some time. :friends:

aaaahhh so at least you've laid off the hookers for a bit to enjoy the car lol!!! Didnt think it would be cheap to run lol, but hey with that bhp, what do you expect.

Funnily enough, been talking about your car to a mate this evening!

Brakes seem fine to me, a little more pedal travel than normal brakes, but nothing too noticeable

Hey fitted at last eh!

Looking good, use the left foot lol!

No way

Loving the colour

Cheers :)

Go make ya own thread you 2!

Sorry to be contrarian but I'm not so sure about the colour, almost looking like you're tring too hard to prove you've got a set of BBK. Would have gone with a silver or black myself.

But thumbs up to you for doing so, bet that cost an arm and a leg or 2!

Madness Smudge! Absolutely madman!!

Hope your loving it!!

I wasn`t having a go at your set up as your front/rear calipers are a good match and use about the correct amount of oil.

Sick brake set up there, is it more for looks or do you actually drive in a way to require such HUUGE brakes?!
A few of us ( including Haz1 off here) went on the most amazing adrenaline filled road trip up in northern Scotland yesterday, was flat out 65-70% of the time, my standard and quite worn brakes took a HELL of a punishing! As did my slipping clutch lol. Had to engine brake like mad AND keep the revs over 4k to avoid clutch slip lol.
I really need to uprate my brakes though think will go for some motul fluid and ferodo pads soon.
If anyone wants to know an amazing route up here pm me.

looks nice, you might have washed the car though!, did you get the calipers powder coated, or painted how does the paint stand the heat (not my colour but perhaps if you start colour coding though!

Jordan, looks a right dirty beast! Respect for doing it mate. Accent colour is prime.

I don't have a set of BBK's....

I did it to show off the brakes

TBH, its probably 60% looks and 40% use

I love the looks of em and the attention they get, but it is nice to have a decent brake setup on such a heavy car

Defo worth the upgrade!!!

Thanks for all the comments people, i knew everyone wouldn't like the colour, but i love it

Look sweet and contrary to others I actually quite like the colour, bit different to the normal red or yellow that everybody does.

Not sure the car is a little "overbraked" now though...?

They are awesome brakes and look good too, but I was also thinking are they too much for the a remapped 170 ( or is it standard) ?
I would only fit a kit like this if i was running serious power, like Stage 2 ++ on an S3, it is such a large increase in unsprung weight which does affect handling and WHP a fair bit. I could have done with some like that on the weekend though, there were some hairy brake pedal to floor moments!

Nothing IMO....show that **** off!

I don't feel like it is tbh

Using the car every day, it's a perfect balance for around town driving and having to brake a bit firmer when on the motorway

Always better to have more braking power than needed rather than too little :)
