Anyone used these tyres??

I've been offered a pair at a very good price and just wondering if they are worth getting.

I wanted the FK452s, but my tyre was flat and the shop had none in for a week, so I chose these instead for £98 each.

Pro:

Nice look/design
Similar to my orginal Pirelly P Zero Rosso's
Durable - on about 6,000 with only some wear

Cons:

No grip in wet
Tyre squeel/spin even in dry when accelerating even a little fast

I won't try them again, but will try the FK452s. If I had a 2.0T/3.2 I would probably try the Continentals.

That bad in the wet were they??
What about in the dry (apart from the noise you mentioned)??

Well, in the P Zeros I would happily go round a bend, in these I am very catious.

That being said I do drive an A3 TDI, not exactly performance material. They are suffecient for getting me to and from work, which is all I need right now
