anyone know of a remap that has that kick in the back feeling that revo has but isnt revo? if that makes sense. With maps getting cheaper i cant justify paying revo £400 when most others do em for £250

apologies for another remap question. only got vague results on a search

cheers

I had a motech remap on my a3 1.8TQS that gave you a good shove in the back and was cheaper than a revo.

drive along. floor it, pull up the hand brake ones you get to 3500rpm to replicate the diesel like power delivery

Agreed, I like a reasonably progressive power delivery. My Revo map has been messed with so it is now both punchy and progressive....

I recently had a 'generic' map at Jabba, if you speak to Mike he can make adjustments to suit. still only cost £195 aswell, BARGAIN!

Dave

I think we spoke before about Mark's figures on the 150 after speaking with Mark yes 213bhp is actual figure

Please remember this is not a ****** generic spikky map like Revo(sorrry revo lovers) this is a proper custom dyno ran map

Any questions give Mark a ring say Its through Pete on here..

Im sure u will be more than happy..!!! And remember comes with 14 day money back if youre not happy...!!!

Matt..

Getting off the guys topic now i was just offering him a decent option..

Being a well respected business why would a figure be quoted if it wasnt accurate surely he'd be shooting his self in the foot... cause everyone would want there money back...!!!

He runs a very well looked after MAHA dyno..

i recon its more likely to be 212.4456BHP myself

sounds great bristol is a bit of a trek a good 2.5 hour drive but might be worth it. If that was on an AGU im suprised. it was probably a 150 with the ko3s right?

edit: just realised theyre mobile too but i think id drive for the live map still tho

Dave, to go back to your original post, why do you want a Gash remap?

surely something smooth with power right up to the redline is far more desirable?

have you actually driven a car with revo compared to say Custard Code?

i can assure you the smoother map makes for a MUCH more enjoyable car to drive quickly.

with something stupidly punchy and no top end, all your mates will think you're the man with your 'quick' car, then when you come up against anything it'll soon show that it's really not all that quick after all as the 1.9TDi golf goes flying past you.....

i dunno its just in my mates golf he has a revo and i like the punch it gives.

in my old car i had a 1.8TQ and that was a chippeduk tune. That was very smooth and fast but it didnt excite me very much. i guess i just liked the big boom power in full whack.

maybe my old car werent performing right and it felt dull because of that. It had no faults on scan but the dyno came up at like 162bhp as standard which i dunno if it was right or wrong tbh. (haldex dced) and 202.2 bhp haldex dced still.

maybe i should try a nice smooth map on my current car n see if i like it then. As far as im aware everything is fine. *touch wood*
