Ahoy from the otherside of the pond!
Going to buy an uprated exhaust manifold for a K04 from INA engineering over here in the US. Was thinking about bringing another one back if anyone would be interested?

As far as i know there just a ported OE manifold??

They extrude honed n ported an oem manifold then replicated them, they were made out of a stronger material so they won't crack as well as the walls being thicker. They've got a 40% increase in flow over oem.

If its anything like the K03 one you will need a few anyway to replace them as they crack... not saying the K04 will, just that the K03 ones have... in 2 weeks!

All cast mani's will crack eventually... even the one I have for my GT30 will at some point...

available now?
Sams being very very cagey about letting anyone have them over on scn... if they are available.

pics would be great.

Yeh I read the thread on scn the other day, someone else has got one n Sam said not to post pictures up for some reason. He sent me a couple pictures, not sure I should post them up though. It looks pretty much the same as an oem manifold.
I leave on thursday night n he said he can get me 2 by thursday morning, IIRC he said he had about 15. He can also get them coated for an extra $100 each but won't be ready before I leave.

Sorry but i wouldn't pay £400 for that.

Still look very restrictive

There are a few company's out there that are slowly working on performance ones

CR Turbos
JBS
TSR

To name three

i hope it works out ok
extrude hone of an already unreliable design is why i shelved the same idea... seemed flawed to make a cracking manifold thinner.

as a basis to make a heavier walled, better cast material however with appropriately sized runners, would be a nice move.
collector looks cleaner, would be nice to see port sides for id and consistency of bore

good find
it will undercut the jbs one even at £400, whenever the jbs one comes to be available to the masses

Thats what I thought it was when I first saw the pics n was a bit sceptical. But then.........

That's exactly what it is.....atleast I hope it is!

Well I eventually got it for 399 USD which is £266, he gave one to me at that price as long as I gave him feedback on it, so I snapped him up on that right away. It will arrive tomorrow (thursday, as its still wednesday for me) fingers crossed as I leave tomorrow night (thursday night).
Will take some pictures n post them up when I receive it.

cool. it will be very interesting to see how it pans out..
I *think* this is the manifold he is using as a basis for rhd tubro kits also, with adaptors.. If I understood his postings right.
