I dont mean to be rude....

It is Pete, but it doesn't look it, looks gash
It depends on the colour and the front bumper. On lighter cars it don't look so great and the front lip can sometimes looks a bit aftermarket.
Mine's got an S line front bumper and the rest body kit and in lava grey it looks very good, although that's my opinion, ( and many others also. But in this colour you be hard pressed to call it gash.

I like your purple rims /buckets but I think far more people would call that gash!

Generally I think German cars no not really suite too many body kit/spoiler appendages and look much better OEM + and with clean lines. Some Jap cars can pull it off better and suit it ( Skyline, supra etc) , but they need it as look **** **** standard. ( well most do).

Does this push any boundries?

Agreed, I really disliked the kit when I saw it on a couple of silver cars, and deliberately tried to avoid the kit, and wanted standard bumpers. But I went to see mine, without noticing the kit in the photos and really liked it. On dark grey / black I think it works, but can look a bit cheesy on lighter colours. Again just my opinion!
