Removing roof rails....

Has anybody removed roof rails on an A3 ?

It's just that I've seen one that I quite like, but I'm not a fan of roof rails and was wondering if they're easy enough to remove; and if so will they leave any marks etc. ?

LOL.....noooooo, I wasn't sure if there was a couple of holes at either end, like on the TT, where you can press them to release the area for 'placing' roof rails....

....anyway, didn't they have velcro before the superglue, or was it double-sided sticky tape ?
