Nice one Gary, much obliged sir! I appreciate you going and taking pics, many thanks. Think I'm sold. I'm running 19's but a lower profile tyre, so should work. Japper has done all the calculations necessary, so hopefully he'll be along presently to confirm.

Ca r looks great by the way. Out of interest, what would you say the overall drop at the front is?

Looks great. How the ride quality compared to the standard suspension?

Not a problem, would have got more pictures but my camera went dead on me.

The ride quality is very similar to the standard set up if not exact same.

I measured the gap between the top of the front wheel and my arch when the car was standard and the gap was 115 mm and after the springs went in the gap went down to 95mm. My car has a gap of 95mm at the rear also so was very pleased with the drop. I had heard stories about the Pro springs not lowering the car by the full 20mm as stated on the box but with my measurements eibach were spot on.

Looks really good.

i have a A3 black SB on order, is that the same height standard as the S3? wondering if i would have the same result.

Could you possibly measure from ground to arch centre lip for both front and rear on flat ground?.

Gary, just a couple more measurements please? Could you possibly measure from ground to arch centre lip for both front and rear on flat ground? What height is the front splitter now sitting at?

Sorry about this, just need to be certain as I've burnt too much money buying springs fitting them and then taking them out again!! Help is well appreciated bro!

i was only messing anyway i have absolutly no idea on how my car will look finished really thrown off on the build i do know if i plan to keep it for long enough, youve sold me on the ebaichs so thanks, that being said whats the deal with driving over roadkill, are you still high enough so it is not a problem?

Hope this helps guys, the measurements were taken when my car was in my garage so perfectly flat ground. Just used the photo to show exactly where they were taken from. The front bumper was measured from the furthest sticking out point of the car.

One thing I must point out, I adjusted my lights up a touch using the allen key adjustments next to the lights after fitting the springs because the lights were pointing down slightly.

Wheels are 225/40/18 with nearly new rubber.

Gary, you're a geezer! Many thanks mate, just as requested. Really appreciate all the effort. :o.k:

I'll keep you updated, but this looks the way to go. Japper, what do you think?

Cracking car mate!

Thanks Y444GAR.

Rich, this equates to a 16-17mm drop which is perfect. With an approx. ( depending where the exact measurement was taken to ) 20mm drop at splitter. This will give a 5 1/2" 'clearance' below the splitter at lowest point.

Maybe we could get a group buy and fit from Lovett............lol.

Do you suffer any problems with rubbing on the arches or speed bumps? And are the springs very visible (being bright red is putting me off the eibachs and more towards H&R)

Thanks
Shane

You're the engineer Carl mate, so I trust you! I am really tempted to go for these right away, just don't fancy regretting it again. I'll do a few measurements here and get in touch with you tomorrow.

Thanks again Gary, top work.

The springs are a really dark grey, more or less black. Not red. No scuffing with 5 people in the car driving fast over bumpy roads around my area. North east scotland, roads are terrible.

Gary.

Ah right, I been looking at the Eibach and H&R springs for mine but not sure what drop to go for I am running the 18" RS6 style alloys and am looking to just get it sitting right as the arch gaps seem abit big for my liking. I have just read on a thread that the S Line/Sport suspension is lowered 25mm from factory so I'd need an additional 25/35mm on top of that (so basically 50-55mm springs) I think

Ive just orderd the Eibach Pro. for my 2010 S3
E10-15-007-14-20
They are just a pair of lowered front (20mm) and use the oem rears as a matched set.
