Hi,

I have recently changed my car to a Audi A4 2.5tdi Quattro.

1)

The car has factory fitted electric memory seats, auto dimming mirrors and electric folding.

I changed the soft code on Saturday to enable alarm beep when locking the car. But since changing the soft code the mirrors don't tilt down when reverse is selected.

Original soft code for conv unit - 07115
Changed to - 08139

2)

I can fold the mirrors via the switch on the drivers door, is there any way of automating this when locking the car?

3)

Final question - Can I change the volume for the front and rear parking sensors?

I have the full version of VAGCOM.

Many thanks

Post a full autoscan of the car so that others can see what is installed and what the part numbers of the modules are.

No you cant code auto folding with locking, I designed a circuit that does that, its not cheap, but works.

Go into your pdc controller module 76 & check your adaptations channels as there are rear buzzer volume & frequency options that can be changed

Did you have tilt before as I dont recall this in coding on the B6/7 & all you've done is add 1024 to original coding so shouldnt have affected anything else, what other modules have you accessed

Thanks NHN - I have changed the volume and tone for the rear and fronts.

Here is my autoscan -

The latest full version is 908.1 using a genuine interface, the shareware older versions are 409 & 311 is a very old version indeed which use a dumb interface as in non genuine.

Why not upgrade to a genuine with latest software with a new release due imminently, PM if interested.

I will see what the neighbour says and go halves on the cost. Will PM you.

From the sounds of it the mirrors cannot be tilted?
I always thought this is possible with electric and memory seats.

I must be seeing things when I brought the car.

Read the manual today -

You can only tilt the passenger side wing mirror.

To do this turn the mirror adjusting knob to left (Passenger side) and engage reverse gear. This will tilt the mirror down.

When you put it back into drive or turn the knob to the centre, the mirror will return to the normal set position.

Mirror will return to normal position, urrmm I suggest you test this before commenting that it will do mate, as not always correct.

Defo returns in the correct setting.

I have my seat set to memory 1 and my brother has it on memory 2. When reverse is selected it fully tilts down then when driving off it returns to the saved position.

I will try it for a couple of days and let you know if it returns to its position.
