Was hoping someone could help me.

Im after a 40mm Lowering Kit not just springs for as close to £200 as I can find for my 99 A3 1.8T.

Been looking allday and the only kits I can find have a lower drop on the front than the back.

Ideally i'm looking for a 40mm drop all round.

And before anyone suggests the budget coilovers, ive considered them but thought against the idea.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Weitec or KW from . . . somewhere. Euro something or other. Matt linked me to them in a recent thread.

The lower the better in my opinion but ive got 18's on the car so been told 40mm is lowest I could go before getting rubbing problems etc..

Likewise.

If you're looking at "the lower the better" I presume it's for looks. So how about cheap coilovers? If not, I would just go with the stuff above from Damian.

bit of a hijack here but... I currently have the "cheap" jamex coilovers on my car.. they must have been on for 2-3 years now. Recently been getting a really crap ride so have changed everything i could think of (drop links, top mounts, wishbones etc) but still the bad ride so im thinking the coilies must of had it. Im not into the whole dub scene and scrapping your sump on the tarmac just want the car to handle well. what would people suggest in the way of best handling on a 1.8t A3? already got uprated eibach rollbars.

Damper and spring setup, like Bilstein B8s and H&R springs.

To be honest, it's been done to death recently, so have a look through recent threads with "suspension" in the title lad.

will do mate
any opinions on the weitec coilovers?
