just read this, absolutely gutted for you mate, i know it doesn't seem like it and you won't appreciate me saying it, but it could've been much worse!!!! did i hear you mention whiplash? :icon_thumright:

yeh got really bad whiplash, booked in to see the physio next week... :icon_thumright:


car is with audi, guy has said to me he will 100% admit liability.. i guess he was genuine about his NCB but i just would never let it go anywhere but audi approved.. i still got funny with audi when they were sorting out where it was going.. so fingers crossed it all goes well. in the mean time i got this A4 3.0 tdi SE and im sorry but its so boring its untrue... :sadlike:

just an update, thought some might be interested as im dealing with the accident exchange company, the 3rd parties insurer has signed off the work im being told so my car shouldnt be long!! in the mean time i had a moan up about the A4 and they delivered me an S3 this morning.. only problem is its FRESH on a 59 with the chrome rnse :bye:but its pretty standard apart from that... and so slow compared to mine... amazing how much the revo and evoms does!!!

Take the RNS-E and replace it with an older version, they won't notice :laugh:

have already thought about doing it!! problem is... i would need to involve audi as i dont have the know how and the two cars wont be with me at any given time i dont think... id also like to swap the alu trim with my piano ****!!

i do reallllllly wanna do it!! its not got cd changer or i pod so i cant even test it out, oh and non bose are pants!!

I need to do this with my gear knob, my wedding ring has trashed the chromed surround.

Phone them back up and tell them it's sh1t and say you want an RS6 plus, TTRS or an R8 V10 as this bogo S3is just not quick enough!!!!

I got given an S3 as a loan car while my A3 was in for repairs. I just removed the front Audi rings from the S3 and stuck them on my mate's car and returned that. I kept the S3.
They weren't at all suspicious.

I took this photo of the car just before handing it over to them......

Ok ok, that's not the whole truth. They were a little suspicious. But only because it didn't have metal wing mirrors.
I just told them they got stolen and I replaced them with Fiesta ones so it wouldn't happen again. :whistle2:

yeh that would be incredible.. yes ryan well give you a v10 r8 jus cause u asked mnicely and your s3 is quicker than ours... (wouldnt that be a dream)

just wanted to say again! standard s3's are welllllll slow compared to a revo'd and inductioned one... anyone reading this thread who is considering a map get out there and do it.....

after a long painful 10 weeks, apparently im gettin my car back on wednesday 9th :w00t::cool:

lets just hope all the work is done to a high standard... bit worried that my cars been in a bodyshop 10 weeks :scared2::scared2:

Which bodyshop has your S3 been taken into?
I went with my damage to Chingford Audi and they are outsourcing the work with Balgores Motor Group. 2-3 weeks I got told and was given a 2008 VW Polo 1.2 with 60bhp.. As exciting to drive as a supermarket trolley...

me too, although im sure i will! yeh its with balgores in Dartford i think, actually maybe brentwood i cant remember... car should be finished with them wed so im guessing if all is ok with audi ill get her friday fingers crossed! :arco:
 
not yet, i had a text about a week ago sayin it would be complleted today, so i took it as friday, im not going to call them and hassle, dont wanna get my hopes up... ive forgot what its like to own an s3... miss it so much!!! :sob:
 
car is back, work looks spot on... cant tell you how happy i am, feels like imn a new owner again :applaus:

now gonna sort out gettin my H&R's on :photo:
