just a few moans about my otherwise excellent a4- dipstick, not the easiest to make out- auto locking, pain in the a**e for people to get in and out of the car. There feel better already...........

i agree on both! there must be something that can be done though to stop the automatic locking???????

I hate the fact you need to press the keyfob twice to open all the doors, this is my biggest gripe. Totally agree on the dipstick, also not the easiest to push in either.

Auto locking and 1 press unlocking are both options within VAG-COM, 2 minute job. When ur car is in for it's next service just ask for them to be disabled, or befriend someone with VAG-COM and get them to do it for you.

Biggest grip I have with mine so far is the lack of a foot rest on the right side once I have cruise switched on :( My cheap Leon had this but I guess this is to do with the tunnel being wider to accomidate the Quattro system? this and the less than sure footed front end feel I am very happy with my new A4.

I like the fact that only the drivers door and fuel cap unlocks, especially as im on my own in the car most of the time.

It stops me getting car jacked! as does the autolock when you hit 10mph.

Understandably, but I've usually got 2 young kids in toe, and sometimes just want to open car and get in. The amount of time wasted trying to get all the doors unlocked can do my nut in.

I suppose I have just got used to this as I have owned 2 Seat's and this A4 plus my misses has an Octavia so that's 4 VAG cars with the same system.

yeah, no footrest when you have cruise control set... plus, the RNS-E partial postcode is annoying

anyone find the armrest gets in the way of the handbrake?

Don't get me started on the satnav  Good job I bought myself a new tomtom just before I bought this car, £200 and it is far better that the mega expensive option fitted to the Audi  I assume the system fitted to the B8 cars is no better?
