Thanks to the imminent arrival of a small person into my life in the next few months, I've had to sell my beloved Mk1 MX-5 and buy something with a bit more room for girlfriend, baby and associated baby junk!
After toying with the idea of a Mk4 Golf GTI Turbo and Leon Cupra (notice a running theme here), I finally settled on an A3, which I felt was the best of all three!
Although it has only got 73k miles (not bad for a '98, I thought), I picked it up for a relatively good price. It has it's flaws (as you'll no doubt read elsewhere on the forum) but I'm already getting massively attached. Even though the roof doesn't come down...
So, hello all - from the searches I've done so far there looks like a wealth of knowledge here. I can tell I'll be in good hands if I need any assistance!
Once I've put a few more layers of polish on the car, I may even dare to post a few pics...
