Hi, newbie here, the headlight bulb and front indicator have gone on my 51 reg A6, I'v looked in the manual and it says not to mess as the xenon bulbs are highly charged. I've looked under the bonnet and to be honest I'm not sure where to start. I suppose I should take it to a dealer but don't really want to pay a fortune for something basic. can anyone help/advise?

Welcome to the site, I wouldnt go messing with the xenons if yuo dont know what you are doing.
Best thing to do is put this in the A6 forum, im sure you will get a better response there, also where are you based, rather than going to main dealers, there maybe a local specialist that will probably do a better job at a better price too.
Alternatively, pm IBZZZZ on this site, he has a lot of dealings with xenons and im sure he will be able to help you out.
