New Wanna be A4 Avant owner ?

Hi,
I just moved to Suffolk from USA and I am looking for a used Audi A4 Avant. Where are the best places to look? I am hoping to find an automatic
since I am learning to drive on the opposite side of the road than in the states. I would
appreciate any suggestions on what to look for to help me get a clean car.

Thanks I have never heard of pistonheads. Are their certain engines I should stay away from?

Depends what sort of year youre looking at but personally I would go for the 2.5TDi Quattro, a good balance of power and economy
 
Well we will only be in the UK for three years, so resale is important. I was thinking 2002-2004 I don't think I can afford newer as the exchange rate for us is awful.

That probably a good year to be buying, I cant see depreciation being too bad
