hi my names ian hughes, from mk, a newbie today, nice to meet u all, i just purchased an

2001 audi a3, 1.6, for £4700

ill try to get some pictures up,

i was curious as to whether it is worth changin the performance if its only a 1.6, i know ive just bourght it, but my main aim was performance.

Hi ian, maybe you should've started with a 1.8t if performance was your main aim ?

Better tuning potential from a 1.8t...

yeh i wanted a 1.8, as it wud make more sense, but due to the fact my insurance wasnt being to friendly, and i needed a car asap, this is all i could find, so, do u think performance wise, its possible to do something to improve it, or a waste of time,

try the A3 section for questions of that sort or tuning section mate

yeah have a post in the A3 section. N/A cars dont really respond well to tuning, maybe an extra 15-20bhp
