My first AUDI

Hello all,

I have now had my Ming Blue S3 for a week and to say I am pleased with it would be somewhat of an understatement. I was originally looking to get an S2000, but I was having problems getting rid of my old car privately and then I came across a second hand S3 at a main dealer. With a 275bhp engine conversion (performed by AUDI) I could hardly say no, so here I am.

The sound of the car is excellent as it has a completely different exhaust system (stainless steel I believe) and the performance is great, pity about the fuel consumption, but I guess you can't have it all.

Here's looking forward to a long, happy and reliable ownership.

Welcome. Did the dealer imply that the engine conversion was covered under warranty? Do you have this in writing?

I'm afraid you'll find that it isn't. The dealer MAY cover the shortfall but it would be incorrect to think the you have a full Audi UK warranty. :-(

I'm sure you'll be fine but I just get cheesed off when people get mis-sold to. I hope this hasn't happened in your case.
